I really love your "complaining" comments @Ruth, in the present case on data limit, and in general on missing possibilities! Power BI is a great tool and if Microsoft could improve some "sloppy" bugs/missing possibilities (without reinventing the wheel) the tool would be wonderful in its user experience 🙂

Well, I have been using PBI for the last 5 years, and in the previous 1-2 years, they got interesting updates once in 6 months. And even then, 1x good thing.

As you said: "..it is horrible idea" =)

Is there anyone else who has experienced problems when trying to open a report with previous versions than this one ?

Regarding 'Data limit' feature. As of now it works in desktop only. In Power BI service the application of 'Data limit' seems to have no effect at all (a bug, I think). The code from Performance Analyzer shows that the limitation is done by 'TOPN' function. Nearly the same limitation could be achieved by ever existing TopN visual filter.
