Where are Red Cross donations going?

Growing backlash for the charity has spread online -- claims of mismanagement of funds and lack of transparency. is that criticism fair? How much of your donated money should charities use for their cause? Here's what we found.

going back decades... my aunt lived in the smallest house in a ritzy neighborhood; her neighbor was high up in a charity organization; told her we could come to see his art collection. he had a Picasso as I recall; his house was like a palace. at the time a little alarm bell went off. I also read decades ago a complaint in a local paper that in a charity shop volunteers took the good stuff home.

I'm so disgusted. This is a joke. A human heart doesn't deserve to be treated this way. I wonder what would happen if one of these disasters hit France or Sweden. How long would it take to get things back on track? Seems like they only misappropriate funds when it comes to African-based countries. Twisted world. The rich get richer and the po' get poorer.

Just got done watching videos of them trashing donations from persons or other groups because "more will be sent". Stealing donations boxed in front of churches, etc.

I heard that 1 dollar of ever 10 dollars raised by the red cross goes to the victims. I will never donate to the red cross again. They are Crooks. Hollywood actors are Crooks. Those actors get the money back when they fill their taxes.The victims never see the money. The Red Cross is more than likely being run by politicians.

don't forget all the escape aids the red cross smuggled into the POW camps during WW2, including maps pasted between the layers in the boards of games they supplied to prisoners. Can't advertise "everything" you do.
