Alvarez for City has been very good. He also got a lot of playing time. He also wouldn't be a bench warmer in most other teams since the person he has infront of him at city is Haaland. Not exactly the easiest player to knock out of the starting XI.

Atletico is getting a really good player and I think the fee is fair.

Alvarez is way better than Omorodion. He bagged 11 goals and 9 assists for City in 36 appearances, so definitely isn't a bench warmer. Omorodion on the other hand only scored 8 goals and got only 1 assist in 34 appearances in an easier league. Alvarez also scored 4 goals at the 2022 World Cup and 2 goals at Copa America. So yeah, this guy clearly doesn't know what he's talking about.
