Time blocking has been a game-changer for me. Up until now, I used a normal paper notebook for my time blocking schedule but I heard Cal Newport talking about his new product - The Time-Block Planner and I decided to give it a try. I learned this method from my mother 12-15 years ago, later a former employer taught me to color boxes by priority. Thanks for sharing the inside of the book, I know I don't need to buy it.

I totally agree with your assessment. I was expecting some more information on how Cal does quarterly plans, yearly plans, how he does and execute his CAPTURE-CONFIG-CONTROL framework etc. I guess you don't need the planner per se. A well detailed blog post would suffice.

Thanks so much for doing this! : ) I've also never bought a planner (and am new to time-blocking), so this was great because it's pretty difficult to find an in-depth review of something unconventional like a planner. 

aking the time to do this has *already* helped out hundreds of people, and many many more for when including all of your videos.

I thought you should be reminded of that since it can be easy to forget how cool it is for you to do this when the majority of the people you help out don't always voice it in the comments. Keep it up and thanks again : )
