🔴 PVC Fan Sounds For Sleeping 8 Hours Fan White Noise

To start, I placed two large, 12 foot long PVC pipes in front of two box fans. I then carefully centered both pipes, in front of the middle point of both fans. This ensured that only the fan noise would travel through the pipes and no air from the fans. At the other end of the pipes, I placed one microphone in each end of each pipe respectively to record the fan sound in true stereo as it rumbled and echoed down the pipes creating a new fan sound all together, that has never been done before! The echoing fan noise came out amazing! I absolutely love this white noise fan sound creation.

Once the fan video starts rolling, I dim the lights, and back-light both fans. This in part, creates the purple glow behind the fans. I also adjust the shutter speed on my camera so the fans turning would appear to be "milky" or in slow motion for an added visual relaxation effect. With that effect, you can see the shadow reflection of the fans turning down the length of the pvc pipes as the fans rotate to the left in the video, while the fan sounds reverberate down the pipes simultaneously.

In the beginning introduction you can actually see my mouth moving as I talk into the pipe to give you an idea of its echo reverb properties. When I was a kid back in the mid sixty DTW still had an extensive cargo presence on the north east side of the airport and in the summer with my bedroom window open late at night the air cargo operators of DC-4, DC-6 and DC-7s would run up their radial engines for testing and warm up. This reminds me very much of that sound. Relaxing! Thank you!
