My sony vaio has departed my study table after 11 years of service. There's so much memories this laptop given to me and to my family.

Over 4 weeks using and I absolutely love this laptop. I bought the i7 512gb model at $500 off during 4th of July sale. It does not creak like some reviews claim and runs so fast. Boot up time in as little as 10 seconds. When worked hard the fans hiss but do not whine; does not bother me. Audio is loud and undistorted at full volume. It surprised me how well it runs some games like Elder Scrolls 4 Oblivion and Mass Effect 3. No problem editing video using Sony Movie Studio platinum 14. No regrets so far this laptop is just what I needed.

I still remember when VAIO still avaliable in my country. Such a cool laptop, thin, light and it also have pen support. I always wonder I can own one even it really overpriced.

For people that say the price is not worth it, this laptop is not for you. This a premium carbon fiber laptop for those that want something different. It's also a fast laptop that can do graphics and solid gaming. It's also super light and the battery is great.

This is a very unique laptop for a person that wants to have something different. Vaio is making their computers in their warehouse in Japan so the there is price to pay than if you pay for a cheaper Chinese computer like Xiaomi.

For those of us who travel alot, this is perfect: light weight, VERY durable and tough, long battery life. The only 2 other options I see are Lenovo Carbon X1 (but these have a problem with with their trackpad) And a mac with M1 chip (Best battery life, powerful but heavier than both the Vaio and Carbon X1 and has a stupid shallow keyboard)

2 years later other than no HDR gaming I have no regrets. Still works great, which is the main reason for purchasing: Japanese reliability.

not worth it without 2 ssd slots and non-soldered memory. i'd also like to see a 1kg 15" screen labtop from sony

Vaio is very bad
It’s expensive and easily break down
Repair takes at least 3 months
And very bad service after Sony left them
