Recently-revealed data shows that collaboration is adversely impacting communities of color. On Tuesday Austin City Council grilled APD and DPS about the effectiveness of the alliance.
Despite mounting disapproval, both agencies defended the work that’s being done saying it is decreasing violent crime.
