Just a note about the old Trezors being vulnerable to physical hacks because they don't have a secure element. Using a passphrase defeats the physical hack because the passphrase is not stored on the device. So, your old Trezor is still a secure wallet as long as you are using the passphrase feature. But yes, the secure element is the new standard for securing your wallet against physical hacks. Just thought I'd throw that in here. :)

08:00 Physical attacks can be prevented by use of a passphrase because it is not stored on the device. Use 12 words for your seed, 12 for passphrase and you are golden!

Yeaaa... Definitely ordering the Safe 3. I'm only using it about once every 3 months or so.

I own both. Just bought the Trezor 5. Yes the 5 has the advantages that you share, however, it is annoying that the # keypad on the T5 is not uniform the layout changes! The haptic touch must be discreet more like uing your fingernail rather than your finger pad. Also not sure whaqt the circles are with the "key" is all about. Perhp you can comment on that as well. Thanks for the excelletn review.

Does the wallet show the current value of crypto or do you track that on the exchange im new to all this and want to transfer my crypto from Revolut to a cold wallet so just wondering once transfered does the crypto still appear on the Revolut so I can track profits or losses in percentages? Guessing the cold wallet just stores the coins with no info about gains or losses.

I'm new to cold wallets. Doesn't connecting a cold wallet such as Trezor Safe wallet to a computer (which probably has internet) via USB defeats the purpose of having a cold wallet? Shouldn't it be only connected for charging only?

@cyberscrilla thanks for your videos, very informative. Just a question to ensure I heard your review correctly; can you actually utilize the T5 without a seed phrase? I know it has that extra layer of security, but if you kept the wallet safe and secure and were confident no one could get their hands on it, could you use it safely for access without the seed phrase? Is it just a password for access?
