10 Day Trend – Snow potential set to continue

The colder than average conditions are likely to persist into next week and that means the continued risk of snow for some parts of the UK. Alex Deakin explains.

Thank you Met office for creating these videos - Because the weather was the only thing most of us wants to watch on the BBC and especially BBC News this allows us to stop using the terrestrial TV and we no longer need to pay for a TV license - The MET office providing this is much better use of tax payers money.

Thank you Alex. Really interesting, thank you. It’s so good to ‘see’ you even though we are in lockdown because, it keeps some of my routine.
There are still plenty of berries on the hedges and trees so I think we could have some harsh cold weather yet to come. Plenty of berries for the birds - what my dear Gran used to remind me of a cold winter was coming.

I didn't see snowfall for a long time in my place (somewhere in Great Britain). Snowfall may be a disruption but sometimes enjoyable. This man is shivering.

Models are showing a beast from the east for next week but I'm hoping it gets cold like that for a while

When I look at weather at inverness next Wednesday to Friday it says 0 degrees to 4 degrees, so it isn't as cold as your making out unless that bit im looking at is wrong but that is also met Office so I have no clue

It’s been steadily dumping heavy rain on Northern Ireland since last night. Dreary, miserable weather. Looks like we’re stuck west of the forecasted snow also, so more boring weather for us. 🤨
