Thanks man! My girlfriend and I were going crazy with her daughter always being in the living room so we made a recroom for her downstairs. The used big screen TV I picked up for her wasn't a smart TV (was told it was), so thanks to you she now streams Netflix, Disney+, Youtube downstairs with her friends and out of our hair lol via Roku Express. For the laptop you can close the lid and the primary screen will just be the tv

HDMI Roku looks a good way to go to get Netflix and Youtube. Here in the UK, they are about £30. I'll be able to use my 42" 1080p plasma, not just my 32" smart TV.
