Netflix Not Working on Sony Bravia TV? 5 Easy Fixes

I show you how to fix a Sony Bravia Smart TV that is having issues with the Netflix app. Maybe its not working, frozen, black screen, stuck on buffering or loading screen, error messages, won't load or open, either way i give you several fixes to get you up and running. Let me know which step works for you. One more thing to note is this Sony Bravia KDL model does not have Android tv software. Hope this helps.

Factory reset worked for me. I communicated Netflix, they couldn't give me a solution. I communicated Sony showroom, they suggested me to communicate with Netflix. I was kinda hopeless but suddenly tried your tricks and worked immediately.

Thank you!! Step 2 worked for me. I was so glad I didn’t have to do a complete re-set. I’ve already had to do a re-set once during this lockdown, and I promise you I don’t want be without my Netflix for long during lockdown!

Life saver! Thankyou very much ..the reset works in our tv. The error on our netflix is “we’re having trouble playing this title right now” . So worried i couldnt watch netflix for weeks then i found this! Thankyou Thankyou

Thank you so much! I was just on with a customer service rep from Netflix for 1/2 hour and he told me to contact my TV manufacturer that it was a hardware problem. Your first step worked for me! :)

Thanks for this. My issue was Netflix and Amazon Prime not opening at all. The second option of unplugging and then plugging and waiting a minute worked like a charm. Love when problems have easy solutions. Thanks again. Robert

Thanks so much. I pulled out the plug, waited and plugged it back in. Worked. Netflix restored! My tv is an android.

Wow, I have been fiddling with this for a couple of days (I could access Netflix via DVD player but not from the TV). Step ONE worked for me even though I had already tried unplugging / replugging. THANK YOU WorldofTech.
