Collector curves for BJT makes sense to my brain but fet curves (jfet and mosfet) just i cant understand...why would anyone NOT want to use only the ohmic region especially in a jfet. I guess mayne for CMOS where you want a switch? I just dont like the naming convention. Much harder to understand than BJT curves

This video helps a lot, i thought ohmic region was for amplifiers. Thanks for explaining it better!
