I’d be interested to see an attempt at a deep water start with a small collapsible parawing to get started. For rivers or even lakes that have a dam and strong-ish currents, you wouldn’t want to be trying to swim somewhere to start from a rock etc., you could already be downstream or pulled towards the dam.

Epic! Finding a launch spot or getting back to the shore can be hard. I'm currently using Foil Drive Gen2 MAX. Have you investigated to combine these two? Board connection is standard, so longer bolts should work here. But attachment to a twin mast can be tricky. 😊 Any thoughts? Maybe a simple short mono mast just for the motor?

can you do a video of the tightest Fig 8 series to can do on the new foil, large foils are hard to get out of a turn once in it, that is how i measure a responsive foil, how tight will it do fig 8 front side into back side into front side and then straight again after two complete fig 8s

Have you ever tried using a bigger board that you could paddle up? Something like the mid length dw boards. Might save a long paddle back to shore.

I'll wait until the robots start making them on mass! ..does anybody, somehow, wear something like a cheap body board foam on their back. Just thinking, if you did come off further out, this model would be easy to slip some foam under to make paddling back to shore a bit easier. But I guess the idea is to build up the the excursions
