Nice video. Personally I always tie my chicken fairly tight before I cook in this way but I think it is a personal preference rather than being essential.

Why not truss the chicken to keep legs from flapping around--and possibly moving the drip tray? Burnt a turkey once when a drip pan moved--not a good thing. Using the drip tray to catch seasoning/spices isn't good--scorched spices can give off flavors when burnt in the drip pan.

This has to be the biggest piece of garbage I’ve ever paid for. The design is the dumbest. It’s just sitting in the motor and it’ll spin out.
