I remember the first time I heard this. My cousin played it to me. We were sat in his living room, we'd been out getting wired all weekend and were drinking back at his, it must have been 5 or 6 am, I remember it was daylight. About a year and a half after that my cousin passed away. Every single time I hear this song I can remember exactly how I felt listening to this as he turned to me and said "sick, isn't it". Music has an incredible way of touching your feelings

Sitting at 3:45 am depressed, alone in cold dorm room watching this video, feeling the music, crying and reading these incredible comments. The fact that there are people who gets the same feeling out of this kind of music is giving me hope that someday I’m going to meet someone who will understand me. thank you for sharing your feelings and emotions-those are my cure

Burial was one of the first artists that I truly fell for that wasn't the pop-radio/classic rock that I had listened to as a child. Because of this and the many many years I've enjoyed his tunes, his music and so many songs all have such a powerful place in my heart.

The first girl I ever truly loved was a fan of Burial's as well and we bonded over his music throughout our 3 year relationship. We were young adults, discovering ourselves and the world together, and she would often play this song during the many late nights we spent together - be it a cross-country journey or a warm night cozied in our bed.

She left me over two years ago and my emotional attachment is mostly gone, but all of those memories remain and listening to these sounds with so much importance and experience attached to them...it takes me back. A slightly brighter time, of excited optimism and headlong lovedrunkedness and a life unfolding before my eyes. More than half a decade later and I'm a little more worn, a little more embittered, a little more guarded, looking into a smaller future that ain't what it used to be.

But this music helps me remember.

Unbelievable how much intensity, deepness, expression and feelings are in those tracks of burial and four tet!

there was a period in time where, instead of sleeping in my bed, i would sleep on the floor on an air mattress in front of my monitor with this video full-screened and this song on repeat the whole night. something about this video/song combination seemed to directly correlate with my life at the time: getting home late with the exciting, intoxicating wonder of having a romantic crush on someone you know you can never get. somehow this song captures that feeling of hopeless optimism exactly.

How did two humans come up with this? It transcends any genre, any kind of label you might put on music. It's just pure therapy in audio form. Nothing short of perfect.

Burial has to be one of the most emotive artists to ever make music. Almost anything he makes makes me feel either melancholy, remorseful or just absolutely uplifted and content. This one hits somewhere in the middle.

Deepness by burial and tempo by four tet - it's a beautiful synthesis.

8 years later... still feels the same. Pure Force of Beauty at its Finest.

The sung parts in this beautiful composition sound like a long lost lover's words whispered in your ear at night, saying everything's going to be alright. These words have long faded away, but the memory of perfect moments sticks. What a beauty of a heartaching, but comforting song.

I really haven't heard any artist that comes close to giving me that strange, almost unearned nostalgia burial gives me. It's such a unique feeling and I can barely put it into words. Even listening completely sober I feel his music is conducive to drastically deep introspection. It also isn't a wholly positive feeling, infact it's almost akin to a sort of addictive flat sadness.

This song is somehow full of life and oozing pain at the same time

One of my favorite tracks from 2013! Such a trip of a song, a nostalgia of the future!

I'll never forget Dec 24, 2016 taking off from LAX to Melbourne Australia listening to this majestic slice of musical perfection. I was not the only one - the CAPTAIN played it while Shazam captured it. Believe me! .
