Показать описание
A spinal cord injury can affect nearly every bodily function. Changes in bowel habits are also common as the injury blocks messages coming to and from your brain preventing your body from knowing when you need to empty your bowel. This video explores how the nature of the SCI contributes to changes in the bowel and how important it is to listen to your body to manage the condition with good bowel habits.

I have had bowel issue with my back injury and herniated discs after my car accident. It is hard when I’m constipated. I’ve taken a laxative but then I’m going for hours to a few days and end up with diarrhea. I’m going for a mother MRI tomorrow. This want an issue before but obviously has progressed.

Excellent explanation. The “accidents” are driving me nuts.

Jeez... Comparatively, On a scale of 1 to 10. I'm a 3.
Living is better since I quit working every day and got SSI disability.
I was just looking for the reasons of incomplete emptying and needing to go again 20 minutes later (sometimes twice)
This video is not that, but it's good info probably for my future self to know.
