I used to work in A&E at UHCW, band 2 HCA, what Lauren is saying is absolute shite, no one cares about you, they definitely don’t help you even if you have raised concerns with your charge nurse and if they tell you in induction that there is no hierarchy DO NOT trust them!!! I had a major issue with an agency band 5 nurse, I told my charge nurse Marie Fogarty and when I was disciplined for it and consequently sacked she had written in her statement a load of lies, one of them being I hadn’t even reported what was going on to her. I was discriminated against and bullied by this one male agency nurse not even one of our own, and now I’m having to contact solicitors to sue UHCW!!!!
