Meet Lauren, Bachelor of Nursing student

Inspired by her mum (a nurse herself) and driven by a passion for connecting with people, Lauren moved from Melbourne to Newcastle and enrolled in the University’s Bachelor of Nursing program. While she loved uni life and the beachside lifestyle that came with it, a placement in Moree, NSW opened her eyes to rural healthcare – and the endless opportunities and rewards it can offer.
