Ferrari 308 to Ferrari 328 important improvement

Ferrari 328s had many improvements over the Ferrari 308. some of the smaller improvements were very useful such as this hood strut. The Ferrari 308 had a rod with a button you had to press which on most 308 when you see them the hood has either been slightly bent or has a small dent where the rod is from someone forgetting to press the release. where as the Ferrari 308 improved upon this by adding a simple yet very effective hood strut.

My euro 328 gts from 1987 have the strut on the driverside with the button release..

That wasn’t so with my 1986 328. It has the strut on the driver’s side and it has a push button release.
