New footage shows rocket fired from Gaza malfunctioned mid-air before striking hospital, says Israel

An Israeli TV station has released new footage which appears to show rockets fired over a hospital in Gaza just moments before an explosion killed hundreds last night. It comes after Israel's military shared footage and analysis which they say shows they were not responsible for the horrifying blast at the Al-Ahli Hospital. The video clip livestreamed on Israeli television shows a salvo of rockets being launched before explosions rock an area claimed to be the medical centre.

Aficgai Adhrui, israel spokesman tweeted after the hospital bombing that we heard of the bad human situations and shortage of medicine in Gaza’s hospital so decided to bomb the hospital as an act of mercy. Hananya Naftaly tweeted after the hospital bombing admitting israel army did it because Hamas is using civilians as human shields but we bombed any way. There are many more israeli officials and israeli tv channels reporting israrl army did the bombing. Natanyaho ordered his staff to remove all tweets and interviews proving israel liability. Even after deletion, these tweets have been recorded and saved as evidence

A day or two before this attack, the hospital was hit with a classic 'knock knock' strike. They even held a press conference showing the shells. The hospital, along with 50 others, had also been verbally warned to get out ahead of planned strikes.

It is amazing how Israel had destroied like 20 hospitals before, and had attacked this one before, they even call to evaquate this hospital but still didnt destroi it .

It is wild to me that two weeks after this incident, it is no longer being discussed. Initial reports overwhelmingly indicated it was an Israeli strike, then there were a flurry of stories including independent analysis that said it was a failed Hamas rocket, and while there were counterarguments (most notably from Al-Jazeera and Channel 4) noting the odd trajectory and speed of the impacting object, I can’t seem to find any further analysis after that rapid back-and-forth. I suppose I’m mostly hung up on the sound from the nearby cell phone video that sounds less like an object in freefall than a ballistic object. Since the “failed rocket” explanations seem to indicate various degrees of damage to the rocket indicated by the airborne flashes prior to the hospital explosion, has anyone explained why the angle of impact was so shallow? They say the first casualty of war is the truth, and obviously there will never be an explanation that satisfies everyone, but I would have thought someone would have investigated the various investigations by now.

There's no way that explosion was from a rocket. Multiple munitions experts have already come out and said that it was a JDAM from an airstrike. Play this very clip all the way through through and you'll see the streaks from the jet flying by. Don't you have any integrity? No shame?

You don't dare to show the full clip, which in the next seconds clearly shows the blast far away from the rocket site (to the left of the rocket site) as well as flares released by an aircraft (this is a typical precaution maneuver when you turn around and leave ). The white arrow with the label 'hospital' was not in the original clip and it's added here for misleading purpose because the hospital was in the middle of the view.
