Rockets Fired From Gaza Intercepted by Israel's Iron Dome

Rockets launched from the Gaza Strip could be seen being intercepted by Israel's Iron Dome air defence system in the skies over Tel Aviv on Tuesday night. The missiles came as intense blasts were also seen inside Gaza after a day of expanded Israeli operations in the north of the territory.

A flurry of Israeli airstrikes hit a refugee camp near Gaza City, while ground troops battled Hamas across northern Gaza and attacked underground compounds. Palestinian militants have continued firing rockets into Israel since the start of the latest conflict, which was ignited by Hamas' October 7 rampage into southern Israel.
