When I was a little kid I wanted to be an artist like my grandfather because I looked up to him so much and thought his artwork was so beautiful. When I got a little older I kinda gave up because I wasn’t good enough right away and put so much pressure on myself to be better that I drew out of obligation until I didn’t enjoy it anymore. All this to say that after so many years your videos make me want to start trying again and see if I can bring back that passion for it I had as a child. We’ll see how far I get but the basics you share are super helpful so just keep doing what you do I guess.

I found this really helpful! If possible please make more of these videos! If you need a recommendation, something I have always struggled with in art is drawing lips from a side angle. I cannot figure out how far they’re supposed to be from the face and my drawings always end up looking like someone ate a bee.

I always try different methods on front view noses, and usually dont shade so have to find pleasing line art for the various nose bridges
