I have a 3dr solo and also solder and do all kinds of electronics projects. I know I can do this for myself. So what can you only ad more batterys in parallel but not series? Nvm I got that far in the video... what's the max amps can it run?

I sent DW one of my solo batteries for this mod and return time was outstanding! I order the 2nd battery he recommended only because the first one was sold out. DW also reminded me if I want a cover for the battery Jon Brotherton is making them for $30 I found him under a solo 3dr group on Face book with a ad for the cover. It was shipped the day after he received my payment and on the way. Cant wait to try them out! Long Live solo 3dr.

Are you knowledgeable about this drone? If so I got two that I installed the open solo 4.0 and they work perfectly but I got two other ones that I did the same thing on and they fully loaded up and only thing is the controller says Compass error but on solex app the calibrated icon is not lit up so I can choose the Calibration feature! Any Help is Greatly Appreciated!

I just bought a used 3dr that seems to be almost new in the box and will be sending my batteries over as soon as I see any faltering in life.... Any other recommended jobs you do on the side? I'll send the other parts too!

Any no problem charging the new cells through the mod or is it better to leave the mod in the drone and just swap cells and charge some other way?

DW ! Hope you get better soon brother ! Missed the stream but you know me, I watched the replay . I think $45.00 is a steal on the Solo battery mod for those that can't or don't want to try it . Just got back from vacation in TN. Too frigging hot but I did get a maiden flight in with my new DR3 Solo . Man that thing is a beast ! Love it ! Get well soon !

$45 is a decent price to gain the use of your battery - you don't have to justify the risk of fire and work involved in doing... does it cover you fumbling the bettery because you wouldn't admit to faulting on your own like you show fumbling of the batteries in 4:00 - - - just saying - - USE A DEWALT PACK ADAPTER!!!
