MS500i vs PS7910

Brand new Stihl MS500i. Establishing baselines between the two saws. The Dolmar has a relatively new piston and cylinder upgrade to 7910 (79cc). The Stihl is brand new out of the box. Running 20" ES Ligth bars on both with new out of the box Stihl RS chains.

Can't go wrong with the Dolmar!
I have no idea what the 500i retails for but I imagine that a feller could almost buy 2 Dolmars for the price of the Stihl.
The ergonomics of the 6400/7910 series is what makes it hard for me to pick up any of my Stihls or Husqvarnas. It's just hard to find a more well rounded saw.
Either way both nice saws....

Is this a 5.7 hp or 6.3hp Dolmar? Be interesting to see a 6.4hp Solo 681 into the battle

Dolmar sounds bad assed but something was up with the chain on that 500...

Chain needs sharpened.. at least on the 500i. I dont understand how people run a dull chain.

dolmar eats stihl lol have makita line trimmers nothing on the market has the same power to weight as a dolmar
