PREMIERE | D.E.T. - Space Travel [Chez.Kito.Kat] 2022

The French-Canadian label Chez.Kito.Kat Records publishes the new album “TAPE 1” by Luxembourg producer D.E.T. After having already released in 2015 his first album inspired by the Chicago house scene of the 90's and which was distributed by the legendary English distributor Lobster Theremin, this new opus “TAPE 1” pays homage to the UK Jungle movement of the late 1990's. The album released on October 2, 2022 will be available in limited audio cassette edition and digitally through UNDERSCOPE.
Under his alias D.E.T. (Deep Emotional Tracks), Michael
Galetto has created his own musical world, from abstract hip-hop to experimental techno and many other genres. Galetto’s recording career began in 2006 making hip- hop beats for luxembourg’s based Argentinian rapper GODIÉ and ended up making a beat for famous french rapper NEKFEU.
In 2012 he began a trip-hop project, SYNTHESIS, with singer Deborah Lehnen.
Together they released two albums; HUMAN in 2013 and IN BETWEEN in 2017. In 2015 he released his first LP “4 5 20 90” under the alias DET90, a tribute to Chicago & Detroit House Music and released three other vinyls under his label TRNST., distributed by the London based record label LOBSTER THEREMIN. In 2018 Michael collaborated with Italian composer Edoardo Cico Inzolia and released M.E.W. (Mind Enhanced Waves) Vol.1 & 2., a musical trip influenced by early Progressive Synth Rock & Synth Wave. The duo is currently working on a Rap project. 2019 D.E.T. started to work on a Jungle album which is about to be released in october this year on Chez.Kito.Kat Records.
