What this poor woman suffered is beyond comprehension. No human being deserves such horrible fate. Her life is actually a perfect example of what Count Dracula meant when he said: “Death is not the worst. There are things more horrible than death."

The worst part about this story (apart from the imprisonment) is the fact the mother died without any form of punishment whatsoever. She should have been sentenced to solitary confinement in a dark room for the rest of her life.

The Dark irony is that the mother didn’t want her daughter to be in a relationship with the low class Lawyer because that would destroy the family reputation so she locked her away, but 25 years later the truth emerged to the authorities as the family reputation got destroyed anyway because of the mother’s cruel treatment towards her own daughter just because she didn’t want her to be with that lawyer.

The servants had to know what was going on. Constant screaming and banging, sudden disappearance of the daughter, dank smell, locked door that they cant go in and constant change in story of where the daughter went to. Death was too kind to the mother.
