Do you know these amazing facts about Stingrays?! Stingrays are a type of fish with flat, diamond-shaped bodies that are well-adapted for life on the ocean floor. They have a long, whip-like tail equipped with one or more venomous spines, which they use for defense against predators. Stingrays are typically docile and non-aggressive, but will use their spines if threatened or provoked. They are also capable of rapid movements, and can swim at speeds of up to 15 miles (or 24 kilometers) per hour!
