Personally if I had your contacts and cash, I would get it rebuilt. You don’t have to do a video series or stuff. Just get it fixed in your time frame.

Then surprise everyone. That bike is you all over and seeing how much it made you happy(forget about the angry times) would be worth the work. I think the turbo busa needs to be reborn from the ashes and be able to fly again 👍🏻

At least you got to see exactly what the Busa was capable of, with Gixxer maxing it out a couple times. No one else had the balls to peg it wide open. It met a glorious end at the hands of Gixxerbrah. RIP Turbo Busa

I've seen enough Turbo-Busa content and thank you for it! CBX was only designed for around 100hp so doubtful it would ever reliably satisfy your high speed needs + being a rare classic it would be kind of a crime to do anything other than a resto project with one. H2 personal/shop bike gets my vote for best option.

It happens, especially when you turn the wick up. Agree with demeanor, it could have happened when anyone was riding it and it was built to be pushed to the limit. It sucks but it is no one's fault.

AT LEAST tear it down and find out what went wrong.
But honestly a rebuild series will pay for itself, and I really wanted to see the standing mile content as well.
