I own one and have lost the charger but found a different one, does it turn green to indicate that it's charging or is it just green because it shows it's charged...because mine it's dead and I really hope it isn't messed up

Yes the charger is crap that comes with it but the box is great and goes very loud with lots of bass! Just get another heavy duty 5v charger to replace the old one and it will be fine as I have done. The polarity should be the same, and rated at 5v and a few more amps.
 I will never take mine back.

I bought the Skullcandy AIR raid speaker for $112.00.  Then I bought three more and then bought another one for $50.00 used, , Amazon..     Very LOUD as the wattage is doubled for every added speaker and clear, running off my ipod with splitters 3.5mm audio jacks. So I have a total of five Air Raids that are rippin' and I ride with a helmet but tunes rip through, even at 50mph.   I even wired them to charge from the bike battery for extra batt life.   Peeps in a neighborhood turn their heads for sure!  In traffic the older peeps, some;   roll up their window 'cause it is too loud for them!     look my ch      dirtbike speakers

This is a piece of garbage, or I simply got a lemon. Anyway, it's somewhere in a landfill now.
