‘I have blessed a cow in labor … but I can't bless 2 men or 2 women who love each other’ — Joe McDonald, a Catholic priest in Ireland, spoke about the church’s policy against marriage blessings for LGBTQIA+ couples.

McDonald’s remarks came a day after the Vatican released a letter written by Pope Francis, in which he seemingly suggested blessings for same-sex unions might be possible.

His last line is his most important one here.
It is fundamentally wrong that he is not allowed to bless two people who are in love. That should be all that matters, that they love each other. In saying that, no one needs to be blessed to have a happy loving life together

This poor priest is contaminated by the spirit of the world and its lies. Being a donkey or a cow is not as being in a state of sin. Would you bless an addict and his co-dependent relationship as it is or pray for their deliverance from emotional, psychological, and spiritual bondage?
