In my high school there was a guy who got caught pretending to be gay so he could hang out with the hottest, most popular girls in school and pull a "omg I've never felt like this about a woman before" line. Apparently it worked. Well. Too well, because that's how he got caught. I guess that line loses some of its edge when you find out you're the 9th girl to hear it.
Back then I thought this dude was creepy and weird, but I'm starting to think he was just ahead of his time. Dude had 20/21 vision.

I've found that greeting people with "Hay-ee" instead of "Hello, " tends to work the same way. Idk why but it perks people up. I get a kick out of it because whenever I say it that way, most people say it the same way back to me😄
