Since we're mentioning Dumbledore, I feel compelled to point out this quote, which TOTALLY should have been in the video:
"Of course it is happening in your head, Harry, but why on earth should that mean that it is not real?" - Albus Dumbledore, The Deathly Hallows

I had TONS of imaginary friends when I was little. It was all like Ben s aid, they didn't look like anything, they were just there. All of their names were some variation of Calleigh (Kal-ee) There was Caleigh, Kaleigh, Kaleigh 8, Kalleighni, Cali, and my all time favorite, Calinia Kalinia Geenia 9

Don't ask, I was 4

I tried to have an imaginary friend as a kid, I thought the idea seemed cool, but I could never stick with it
As an adult though, I do like to imagine what fictional characters around me (in books, on my screen, etcetera) think of me and circumstances surrounding me. That's... maybe similar?

is it just me that loves seeing them pop up in each others videos?

I had two imaginary friends
They were two 16 years old red haired twins. One was a vampire tomboy that liked to skateboard and the other one was a very feminine witch in a wheelchair
I didn't really play with them
I just watched them do things when i was bored

Me: "this will be interesting, I always wished I had an imaginary friend"

Video "most likely if you're the eldest child and female"

Me "huh. So weird that I didn't. I am strange though."

Video "many kids actually forget their imaginary friends, you should ask your parents."

Me: "no way. I would definitely remember a hallucination I talked to for a year or two. Right?"

Called my mom. His name was Bobby.

Mind blown.

I didn’t “invent” my imaginary friends, I just pretended my favorite TV show characters were real and I played with them. Me and Danny Phantom were lit.

I haven't forgotten mine. I never will. His name was Leo (like the constellation "Leo the Lion), a little lion cub with a BIG kind heart and also acted like a human. I would go to the fridge and pick out a 'some meat' just for him while I ate cereal, ice cream, or pizza (literally any food I could eat at the time). I would do everything with him... until my 6th birthday... I was feeling MUCH older and I looked at Leo but saw him fading away. Before he COMPLETELY faded away he said, " Goodbye, my good friend. Grow up to be a beautiful lady for me will ya?" Then I never saw him again... until he came back a few days ago. Since I am an only child I'm so happy to have him back.

I had two imaginary friends. They were personifications of my hands. My left hand was Jeff, and my right was Bob. Jeff was a bit more serious, and bob was a goofball. I was an only male child growing up, who was also home schooled, so yeah, definitely needed to make up some friends. Haha.

I had an imaginary friend when I was ten years old... she was some kind of princess that lived in a magic kingdom (yes I know, it's not very original 😂) and I imagined to go on adventures with her. Sometimes I miss her

I remember having Buzz and Woody toys as a kid and I always made sure they were together because I knew they were friends.

Normal lonely kids have one imaginary friend. I was so weird I literally had 8 imaginary friends. 16 if you count their pets.

My imaginary friend was basically for me, just the person that I wanted to be like and would out hang out with me. I gave her a family a back story and a race. Sadly Elizabeth had to move to back to Transylvania and we since lost contact.

I know it's an old video but in case someone comes here later than me I wanna recommend an amazing book about imaginary friends. It's Memoirs of an Imaginary Friend by Matthew Dicks and I as a person who had few imaginary friends in my life and even an imaginary 🐕, I really loved it. It is funny and sad, easy to read, it has a great story, great characters, especially the main one - Budo, a really special and brave imaginary friend. :)

My imaginary friend was an alien named Space. He appeared when I was 5 and stuck until about age 8. His back story.... as a small child Space and his brother Spaco crash landed on earth in separate locations. I found space and provided him with a home and companionship while he worked on trying to go back. He had three forms. An alien, a full-sized human boy, and could possess my hand and therefore come with me anywhere. I miss him.

I didn't exactly have an imaginary friend, but I would, when I was bored, stare off and make up stories that would have my own characters with their own personalities, ranging from bubbly, excitable, and are pranksters

No, it's YOUR imagination. So he can do whatever YOU want him to do. But they can also act out the bad things in your mind so...
