Just so you know, devs said kratos was holding back immensely, even thor was but not much. In the last fight thor unleashed all of his might against kratos who was only showing some of his rage and thor got defeated. Kratos didn't kill thor, he didn't want to.

Thor actually fighting Kratos at the end while being poisoned by the Eitr on the leviathan axe, and after defeating Jormungandr and holding Ragnarök at the same time. Also, Rafael Grassetti himself, the art director, confirmed in a podcast that Mjolnir is designed to be more powerful than the Axe. People really are looking Thor down.

Finally i find edit with every single point right! Some dumbs will say: Kratos was holding back, but thor was holding back as well as Kratos. The god of thunder literally damaged the Ygdrassill tree that exists beyond the concept of time and reality with single punch, it just an multiversal feat! And he killed every single giant by only himself. And Kratos manipulated wit The World Tree only with Tyr Temple, but can not manipulate with it with only him and his weapon. In terms of overall physical prowess I believe they’re overall very similar with Kratos taking strength and Thor durability and endurance. I think Kratos wins not out of physical superiority but more due to his intelligence and raw skill while Thor focuses too much on power and instinct
