Unbelievably, Paul did not have a U.K. No 1 until 1977 which was Mull of Kintyre, but in these Apple Years , his best placing was the No 2 Position!

Hi, Dave. First off, thanks for the shout out. This is a wonderful collection of 45s. I feel with the enormous catalog that McCartney has, there's tracks on albums if released as singles, would have reached a number 1 position on the charts. As being half Scottish and Canadian, Mull of Kintyre with Bagpipes is one of my favorites, also I love ' Once Upon a Long Ago ', great vocal and soundtrack . Cheers

Hi Dave Happy New Year and thanks for the shoutout. Needed that after the disaster of a match at Fratton Park earlier. Great Paul and Wings singles there. I remember most of these being played on the radio as a kid in the 70s. Some of my favourites as well. I could see why the BBC banned those 2 singles. Happy New Year BeatleDave! 2023 has started off like a firecracker on this end. Yesterday I received a 1st issue UK copy of Plastic Ono Band, which I could identify by the Maclen credits, thanks to YOUR VIDEO last week. And today I found and ordered a gorgeous clean red Parlophone "Love Me Do" single complete with original 1st variant sleeve, for a modest price.

As I'm quite certain you can attest to, collecting The Beatles is a great, albeit expensive pass-time!

Happy New Year, Dave ! Another stellar video from your legendary collection ! I must admit, I'm dumbfounded as to how none of these singles made # 1 in the UK. Band On The Run and Live And Let Die and My Love at least should have been toppers ! I believe, in the US, Paul had 3 #1s in that same period but maybe the competition was tougher in the UK ? Happy new year Dave, very enjoyable video as always. Just a couple of points, Hi Hi Hi /C Moon was a double A side, so both have the chart position. You did a slight disservice to My Love as it hit no. 9 and not 10 ! 😊
