☑️ Articles About Soap Making:

Any equipment used for soap making should be exclusive – don’t use it for food. Lye and fragrance can get stuck in cracks, even with thorough washing. We also recommend hand washing instead of using the dishwasher.

You saved some lives with the aluminum warning! Haven’t heard that elsewhere.

Well your website already helped me figure out why my soap went to super thick trace in 15 seconds (cold lye but warm coconut oil) and now I find this! A charming presenter, no over-excited shouting, simple instructions and well filmed. This is the BEST soap making video I’ve found, and I’ve watched quite a few.

Of all the beginner soapmaking videos I’ve watched, you are the first person who ever defined “trace, ” so thank you.

I actually really like this girl and video she's not mentioning her website over and over or tryna sell anything just genuine teaching she seems extremely humble

A tip that Katie Carson said in her lye safety video is to use half water half ice. It will help cool the lye and keep the fumes at a minimum

I refer new soap makers to this channel all the time, because of the information you provide. There's a couple YT channels I love for the in-depth explanations and this is one of them. Thanks Ann-Marie for all you do!

Anne-Marie, it's like you knew that I was about to actually start a soapmaking business and sent me a new tutorial. I've been watching soapmaking on YouTube for years, but finally decided to start the craft for myself. I just bought your books and this new tutorial is an extra bonus!

Vinegar! Always have white vinegar on hand for if you end up with lye on your skin. I put white vinegar into my sink of soap to deactivate any lye and I use straight vinegar to wipe down my surfaces and tools like my stick blender, thermometer and scale.

I used a kit that I got as a gift but used your video as my guide. It looks great! I look forward to using and giving some away once cured.

Hello from Cameroon. I discovered your channel and I must admit I am overwhelmed by the simplicity of your explanations. Thank you for sharing your expertise with us. There are so many videos on YouTube but for the first time I fully understand this cold process soap making process. You give a lot of details and it helps neophyte lovers like me. I subscribe directly to your channel and I will recommend it to other cold soap lovers like me. I hope to be able to show you my achievements in the very near future. Thanks again for sharing this. Sorry for my shaky English, I think you'll understand I'm French speaking and just trying to speak in English.

I haven't read the comments so I don't know if anyone's said this before or if you have a video for this but, you tare your scale when measuring and there are people who don't know that you're doing that or don't know what that is/how to do it. Just a suhhestion to explain it for like blank slate newbies. 👍🏼 Love your videos. I'm excited about starting my soap making adventure!

Love the way you explained. I started with melt and pour this Christmas, made some macarroon soaps to have fun and give to friends. My family love them. What I see is I need to work fast to make design. I see cold process you have more time so later I am thinking in having my first cold p soap. This is such a good way to be crwative and I learned a lot about what makes a good real soap .

Thank you for making these videos. I decided to try my hand at soap and candle making after seeing one of your videos on my homepage. This has been a fantastic introduction and I'm excited to start making the products. I primarily want to make them to give as gifts.
