Vinegar! Always have white vinegar on hand for if you end up with lye on your skin. I put white vinegar into my sink of soap to deactivate any lye and I use straight vinegar to wipe down my surfaces and tools like my stick blender, thermometer and scale.

Love the way you explained. I started with melt and pour this Christmas, made some macarroon soaps to have fun and give to friends. My family love them. What I see is I need to work fast to make design. I see cold process you have more time so later I am thinking in having my first cold p soap.
