How To Make a Cold Process Soap + RECIPE INCLUDED

Hello everybody!! In this video I demonstrate how to make cold process soap. I used a technique called "tiger stripe" to make those beautiful stripes. I also created little fruit embeds to adorn the top out of melt and pour soap.

Here is the recipe for this soap made at room temperature (it makes 5 pounds of soap):

sodium hydroxide (lye) 8.01 oz
distilled water 18.15 oz
apricot kernel oil 2.04 oz
canola oil 6.79 oz
castor oil 2.04 oz
coconut oil 13.58 oz
olive oil 23.77 oz
palm oil 4.75 oz
sweet almond oil 2.04 oz

I used low sweat melt and pour soap from Nuture Soap (link above)

Are the embeds melt & pour? I thought the multi-bar cutters couldn’t slice through melt & pour embeds?
