It’s worth noting that the F-14‘s sensors were not on during the first dogfight, so the radar warning would not have sounded.

Every sound that has been added is spot on except rwr warnings. While dogfighting two Felons, radio/radar was off. Later when above the sea Rooster turns on radio/radar and radar lock warning sound comes up. If you listen closely to the original sound you can even hear missile launch warning sound in the movie.

Having the correct sounds elevates the immersion so much. Those missile lock alarms, the warble of death, adds so much tension. And then the guns opening up, just that gutteral, unnatural growl. THIS made me feel like I was in the fucking plane. Absolutely phenomenal work.

The RWR special threat indicator and the missile launch alert on that second missile mixed with the constant radar lock warning *really* fucked with my DCS stress lmao good stuff man

God, now _that's_ the stuff. You know what had more accurate gun sounds than Top Gun? _The Final Countdown, _ a schlocky time travel film from the early 80s, because they used actual footage and audio of the F-14 firing its gun.

This is how the scene *should* have sounded. As an aviation Nerd, the real sfx made the scene so much better, not just the cannon sounds, but the Sidewinder tone, and various alarms as well. Thank you for making this!
