I had a distributed system course way back 3rd year in my uni where it talked about architecture like client-server. Terms that I can remember that we tackled were grid computing, cloud computing, SOAP, etc. We also designed some networks. Hoping I can polish my acquired knowledge and study more in-depth. Kevin Kelly in his "Out of Control" 1992 mentioned how important distributed systems "Bee-Hive" are. Oh btw, another topic chapter in the same book crypto e-money.
