Further, it's hard to understand how each role collaborates and what tools they use. Today, I walk you through all the roles in tech, from most technical to least technical. I hope this video shows you there's a role for you, depending on your interests and skills!

Sharing my two cents being a software test engineer; the best SDETs (Software Developer Engineer in Test) are ones who are as technical as a regular Software Engineer, because having a deeper technical background helps with integration and functional testing.

In most roles, you want to be a good software engineer first before you specialize. Though, despite being an SDET, I have to work with Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and tons of other deployment tools. So DevOps, Infrastructure, Testing... Ya do what ya gatta do depending on the company haha!
