Worth noting: Etho is also largely responsible for the advent of block-update detection systems, coining the term BUD-switch 11 years ago. 5 years later, Mojang would introduce the observer block to replicate the functionality of advanced, glitch-reliant block-update detection systems that were being patched out (although Etho's original design could still work to this day).

This video is missing a major part of early Etho history. He was a major presence in the Race for the Wool and other early minecraft PvP formats. The midnight society is how he ended up meeting a lot of the Minecrack guys

I'll watch anything Etho uploads simply because it's Etho. I've been watching him for over a decade and he never fails to reignite my passion for minecraft.
