-Somebody: "Wonder what's inside that guy's head while he's doing Tai Chi"
-Tai Chi guy's head: MASTER OF PUPPETS ARE PULLING YOUR STRINGS!!!

That Tia chi guy's smug look is lethal

So many traditional MA dudes start clowning to pretend like they're not trying - which they think camouflages their inability.

Tai chi guy is acting like a too good for you anime bad guy

Boxer isn’t setting anything up and gets too emotional, also smothers his own punches instead of getting his spacing necessary

I like the fact that this is the first video I see where the Tai Chi guy actually looks like he has taken a punch before. He keep his cool and kept fighting! Kinda wild because vids like these usually end with the tai chi guy out in seconds

Tai Chi guy did a good job in conserving energy early on and capitalizing on the fact that the boxer was more tired later. That was the moment he oppened up with more aggresive approach. I have to say - given how badly Tai Chi guys are destroyed usually this was actualy very good performance.

I came here expecting the Taichi guy to get demolished but after he got serious he actually did really well. Props to both fighters

Props to the Tai Chi guy for actually sticking to Tai Chi throughout the fight. Most "masters" start swinging wildly after getting hit just once, and their students are often just kickboxers who don't actually use Tai Chi in fights.

When I saw that smug face and the stance I thought he was going down in the first 15 seconds. Pleasantly surprised.

The tai chi guy was pretty good with his head movement. The boxer sensed that which is why he was playing patient and not falling into the trap of swinging away at his head.

If there was no grappling allowed that was a big disadvantage to the tai-chi guy ax many tai-chi moves translate into grappling tecniques. It was a mistake of the tai-chi guy to accept a fight under those rules imho.
Cool video though :)

Really surprised by the Tai Chi guy. He really seemed to come alive at the last round. Felt like he knows more than just Tai Chi.

The Taiji guy wasn't cocky. He's just very chilled out, and not worried about the outcome of the fight.
I don't know the background of either fighter, but it's obvious that the boxer was very tensed up and fidgety, which severely limited his ability to pose a threat to the Taiji guy.

The Tai chi guy did very well. I think he at least has the ability to see through the punches and avoid them. If considered a real-life situation, your opponent will not be a pro boxer or a pro MMA guy; he will be a normal dude, and these skills are enough to take a normal dude out.

I liked the Tai Chi guy. He wasn't fazed by anything and remained controlled.

To me it was clear that tai chi fella was the better fighter. It sucks that he didn't take the fight seriously though, if he fought the three rounds like in the third, actually having a guard and using his kicks it would have been very one sided. Also I would have expected him to work better in the pocket, sticking to his oponent, that's what tai chi is alla bout, but hey great to see someone using the art actually having a clue about fighting.

The Thai chi has some skills actually. Just has an ego/fundamental issue
