I disagree with your opinion on the single-ended performance. It's excellent, and it's single-ended power output is plenty for most any headphone. I've done a blind listening test with this vs the Asgard 2 (I own both) and while the Asgard had a bit more rumble in the bass and an overall warmer presentation, it couldn't match the Jotunheim's clarity and tight focus. Jotunheim was clearly the better performer although the Asgard's signature is a pleasing one and less clinical than Jotunheim's.

I have just bought Jotunheim and wanna know if you could help.

If I use my DAP line-out (3.5) to Jotunheim line-in (RCA), is that okay for me to plug in the headphone with XLR?
Coz someone tells me that if I want to plug in the headphone with XLR, I need to have Jotunheim line-in (XLR) connected OR else I can just plug in the headphone with 6.3 in this case.

I am quite confusing right now.

Is this amp good for senheisers 650? Am looking for a amp with higher then 300 ohm, since the 650 are 300. I heard theses are 600 ohm. I also have the sundara hifiman headphones. Would you recommend this amp for them as well or a differently?

I have the Vali 2, Jotunheim, and Lyr 3, purchased in that order. Since I got the Lyr 3 in October last year, I use it almost exclusively. However, the Vali 2 and Jot are good amps. I have a ZMF Aeolus on order and I'm excited to hear it with both the Lyr 3 and the Jot.
