The kind of song and movie you can listen to and watch over and over. And over.
Thank you for posting!

Perfect fusion of what I love!!!  Shakespeare's words and Joss's music composition.  To whom might not know - Joss wrote ALL the score to much ado.

I adore this! Emma Thompson does a spoken word version for the Kenneth Brannagh adaptation as much as I love her, I think this is my favourite. It's so sweet and simple and beautiful.

Saw the movie and was very taken by this song and the visuals around it. Amazing photography. Maurissa had very charismatic and beautiful voice.

love this such a clever, wonderful way of making the Elizabethan prose translate to a modern, contemporary audience.

Sigh No More

Sigh no more, ladies, sigh no more,
Men were deceivers ever;
One foot in sea, and one on shore,
To one thing constant never.
Then sigh not so,
But let them go,
And be you blith and bonny,
Converting all your sounds of woe
Into Hey nonny, nonny.

Sing no more ditties, sing no mo
Of dumps so dull and heavy;
The fraud of men was ever so,
Since summer first was leavy.
Then sigh not so,
But let them go,
And be you blith and bonny,
Converting all your sounds of woe
Into Hey nonny, nonny.
William Shakespeare

As someone had described this movie to me.  It's as if all the Joss Whedon characters died, gone to heaven, and then had a fun time.

Beautiful song, and of-course how true the Bard's lyrics - 'men are deceivers ever ...'.
