Sigh No More / Heavily (Much Ado About Nothing Cover)
Показать описание
Cover of "Sigh No More" and "Heavily". Performed by Maurissa Tancharoen in Joss Whedon's Much Ado About Nothing soundtrack. Text by William Shakespeare and music by Joss Whedon. The movie is shot in black & white, so I did the same as an homage.
Since I couldn't find the chords anywhere on the internet, I'll include them here for other to use (just so you know, these aren't the exact chords from the soundtrack, just ones that sounded good with my arrangement).
D C9
Sigh no more, ladies, sigh nor more;
G D
Men were deceivers ever;
D C9
One foot in sea and one on shore,
G D
To one thing constant never;
D
Then sigh not so,
Em G
But let them go,
G C9 D
And be you blithe and bonny;
D Em G
Converting all your sounds of woe
C
Into. Hey nonny, nonny.
D C9
Sing no more ditties, sing no mo,
G D
Of dumps so dull and heavy;
D C9
The fraud of men was ever so,
G D
Since summer first was leavy.
D
Then sigh not so,
Em G
But let them go,
G C9 D
And be you blithe and bonny;
D Em G
Converting all your sounds of woe
C
Into. Hey nonny, nonny.
Bm Em
Pardon, goddess of the night,
Bm Em
Those that slew thy virgin knight,
Em Bm
For the which with songs of woe
F#m G A
Round about her tomb they go.
Em Bm
Midnight, assist our moan.
F#m G A
Help us to sigh and groan
Bm C Bm
Heavily, heavily.
C Em Bm
Graves, yawn and yield your dead,
F#m G A
Till death be utterèd,
Bm C
Heavily, heavily.
Heavily, heavily
