After being defended at IMPACT Wrestling Hard To Kill 2022 there are TWO ROH World Championship matches (kind of!) this Saturday night at GCW Say You Will. Plus we have details on scrapped SmackDown plans for Jeff Hardy who was released from WWE at the end of 2021.

- "Let's fire half our roster because we don't know what to do with them, and want to make even higher profits."
- "You need 30 guys each for the Royal Rumble."
- "Oh f-"

In 20 years time we’re going to be watching documentaries about WWE we’re definitely the first and only major wrestling company to open the forbidden daw

Prediction: Jericho
Hope: Omega
Reality: Cardona

Perhaps in the men's rumble match we could very well hear "Oh radio tell me everything you know" and out comes Matt Cardona/Zack Ryder.

If I had to guess, I wouldn't be surprised if the "forbidden door" guy was Nick Aldis. NWA would get a nice rub, and you know I think he has a connection to the already walking in Mickie James. It won't be an AEW guy, but Aldis? Oh, I could see it.

MJF or Chris Jericho would be an amazing surprise entrant Moose or Chris Sabin would be cool to see maybe even Okada or Naito from NJPW whoever they get it would be very surprising and a fresh welcome to The Royal Rumble

My first thought was Moose, I don't know why. Maybe because they are "working" with Impact. He is their champion so it would be nice to see him.

I feel like it's going to be MOOSE. The timing of his Roman tweet is so close to the Mickie James thing. Having both top champs in both rumble's would be amazing for IMPACT. If you've got one in there, why not angle to have them both in there?

My kinda outside guess would be Abyss. He's already a producer with the WWE and would be a decent entrant to pop the crowd.

If it does happen with AEW, it will probably be Chris Jericho. I do however think that Kenny Omega may be a surprise entrant in the Rumble. They talked about Kenny leaving for a bit on BTE. This would give him a few weeks to quarantine and to train/rehearse. I do think however it is very unlikely, but it would be awesome to see.

After taking the Indies by storm a return for Matt Cardona to WWE would be amazing, he'd get such a massive pop finally

I would love to see Nick Aldis in the Rumble

If I was Tony Khan the only person who I would let do it from AEW would be MJF. It makes perfect sense with his character and his current storyline with all the WWE and WrestleMania references. Jericho maybe as well if they wanted a legend.

God, could you imagine Jericho showing up at the Rumble.

3… 2… 1… *buzzer*… brief pause, then “Judas” hits and everyone loses their collective shit.

I know it would never happen at this point, but I’ve always wanted to see Jericho win the Rumble. In Kayfabe, he’s always done so well in Rumbles, but never won.

Impact: Titan
NWA: Trevor Murdoch
AEW: Chris Jericho (or:
• Daniel Bryan
• CM Punk
• or... MJF! Showdown with The Miz 😂)

Three words (and I know he's not with impact or anyone, so this could work): Love. That. Danhausen.

This year's man's Rumble right now seem like it's going to be least star studded in years, like one of those in mid nineties when they brought outsiders like Mill Mascaras and wanted to bring Sabu. Almost all of their big stars are either on one of world title matches or injured. It would be cool if they want to play nice with others and strike a deal with NJPW, AEW or Impact to bring some of their guys but i cant see that happen. I am still excited for this year Rumble, it my favorite time in wwe calendar and this year is hard to predict winners of both Rumbles.

My money is on Ken Shamrock as the surprise entry from Impact in the mens rumble!
