🎤 Here are 5 things to do to get the perfect vocal mix every time

1️⃣ Chop up the vocal and get it in time

2️⃣ Make sure it's perfectly in tune... Use a pitch correction plugin if need be

3️⃣ Remove any unwanted noise, but make sure you don't take breaths away all the time because they can add some real flavour and make it sound more real... Sometimes you might need to add some too!

4️⃣ Get a gain plugin and ride the gain across the vocal, so later when you're passing it through a compressor, you'll get a consistent level and It won't be ducking around all over the place

5️⃣ It's time to do your processing, but don't do this in solo, do it so you can hear how it blends with the mix. You'll get much better sound, and you probably won't process as much.

which recording software brings all the these plugins?

I would not pitch correct to 440hz as a rule. Some notes sound better being around the tempered scale point. I disagree with this point of Streaky's, though I am quite a fan of his because of his insights. Keep up the good work Streaky

What is your suggestion on where to place the vocal rider- on the actual vocal track to create automation, or on the lead bus (at the beginning of the chain?)?

What kind of gain plugin are talking about? I always automate my gain forever before compressing, so that sounds like a time saver

This says Nothing. How do you add pitch correction? And why?
