My Pro 100S seems to have a mind of its own doing random purges despite me using the printer at least every other day and producing regular nozzle checks. I'm guessing blocks are more likely using 3rd party inks?

Hello, Jose. I have been home printing my own photos for many years and I have only just found your excellent YouTube channel! I don't have any pro printers but an excellent Canon Pixma MG8250 (A4 paper and its got a negative/slide scanner which I need.) I have a question about the Canon nozzle check. My high quality colour prints on premium glossy paper look perfect. However, my nozzle check shows the long band of each colour (as in your video), but if you look closer each band is made of "blocks" of ink, and each "block" has gaps which I interpret as blocked/failed nozzles, but there is not a continuous line across the page, of missing ink. So after trying to clean the head so many times with no improvement, is it possible to get perfect prints with missing nozzles?
