ABOUT ME:

I’m Liam Harrison, Bolton born and bred. I’m a lover of Golf, life and laughter.

Started Golf 12 years ago after packing in football when i was 28 due to a back injury.

I started the Youtube channel as a laugh and a Wim, to make me practice but that went out the window as i started vlogging, loving being on camera but more so the interaction with my #golfmates.

In 14 months i have seen the channel evolve and become the only real golf community on Youtube which i am extremly proud of.

I would like to thank all the #golfmates that have been with us and supported us and the channel from the start. Also not forgetting our new #golfmates that may have only just come across the channel.

Morning Liam. I can’t wait to see your video playing with a bad back, I am 35 with osteoarthritis and it has really affected my game, one thing I have done just to be able to play 18 holes was to by a trolley before I had to walk in after 12 holes. Can’t hit as far now ‘ has I could before, but watching your videos just says it all, what the if am crap now long as we enjoy the crack and have a Laugh or 3 Can’t say enough about young josh. Hi Liam.I hope you do the video about bad backs. Years ago i wasn't half bad off 13 but then the back started to get really bad so i had to stop playing. Turned out i had spinal decompression, basically no bottom disc and all the nerves were trapped. 2 years ago i had an operation and i have just started playing again which is great. I am protective in how i play now but managing 19 on a good day. See you at Branston

Liam, I've had back trouble for more than 25 years and it does affect your Golf. Best thing i ever did was go and see a Chiropractor, took a few visits but really helped. I still go and see him when i need to but generally manage ok after years of struggling to complete 18 holes and then take days to recover.

Still wanting a polo, but the 4XL is only a 52-54 chest, most 4XL are 58-60 chest. Looks like i'm destined to never get one. I have contacted Par 73 to see if they can do any larger sizes as I know there are other Golf Mates of a larger stature and will let you all know in due course :-)

I used to have a bad back but I’ve noticed that as I play more golf, my back pain has resolved. Can’t wait for the next set of videos!
