Can you imagine how cool it would be to see the female and male team against each other to steal something huge from the "villain" and then eventually joining their forces to work together without the "villain" knowing it until the end? Debbie and Danny could steal anything together. And Danny Ocean is not dead in my head.

I think Danny faked his death. If you think about oceans 12 where lemarc was never seen or heard from again in 50 years where they thought he was dead, I think Danny is doing the same thing. So I'm saying he's not dead but it would have been cool to see him in the last part

fun trivia for you all; Helga M Meyer is in fact Ms. Bullock's mother, who died in 2000. if you haven't yet seen it, I highly recommend watching Ms. Bullock's best actress acceptance speech from the 2010 Oscars. it was one of the most beautiful speeches I think I've ever seen and, a hugely moving tribute to her mother (and, to mother's everywhere). here's to you, Mrs. Helga M Meyer, for giving the world the wonderful gift of your daughter, Ms. Sandra Bullock :)

The ending proved danny ocean isn't dead. He's in hiding. He's still alive. And out there. But I guess we won't get another oceans movie cuz of fucking covid.

Apparently when the movie hit theaters the ending scene shows the silhouette of someone (probably Danny Ocean) behind Debbie Ocean and then she smiles

Killing Danny Ocean makes no sense. Ruben almost died in 13, and look at the extrodinary effort his crew went for to get revenge. The death of Danny would caused the heist of half the planet, how are they going to use it in this film as just a detail? Can't be dead.

So for everyone asking: the reason why Danny Ocean was written off as dead (whether real or faked) is because George Clooney and the rest of the original cast refused to do another Ocean’s movie after Bernie Mac died.
Even if it was just a cameo, George was gonna say no.
