SHELF THAT CONVERTS TO A TABLE to save space

I built this Shelf Table

This was fun challenge but HONESTLY I've come to the conclusion this type of table is a bit too wobbly unless you really were to bulk up the design, which I think would be kinda ugly looking. It was fun to experiment and I will probably convert that into a shelf/standing desk.

I make videos. Please please help me out and subscribe :)

Nice work, but is the table stable should we put a pressure on the side? I think it wouldn’t hold it or something?

Hi John, I was wondering if you have any specifications on your design and if you could let me know if you have any ideas as to why and where it’s wobbly?

how tall is it when it’s shelves upright and not slanted?

Mr Wikk: I think you did a beautiful job with this and I envy your ability to work so comfortable with not only wood, but metal.

I do have a question: do you find the space between the table pieces to be a bit "much" when the piece is in the table configuration? I recognize that a table cloth might more than address this but I was thinking about making these tabletop/shelving pieces capable of sliding towards, and for the purposes of abutting one another in the table configuration, recognizing that such configuration of course cannot exist geometrically speaking when converting the piece from table to bookshelf or vice versa, and that this spacing of pieces during transformation is necessary.

Thanks.

I wonder if it's possible to do this same thing, but with a tiled, retro farmhouse table. I'd like to bring new life to my late grandmother's table but I live in an apartment, so it's gotta be space saving

I was thinking about doing a similar thing, but with wood cause metal is a pain in the ass. I settled on a normal shelf, haven't built it yet so maybe this will change my mind back

Very cool! Tho I feel like you should of put weights on the wood while the glue sets to help prevent warping for future project. Very cool though! Love the design
